While currently performing, touring and recording out of the DC area, Bobby counts his influences as many, from the jazz explorations of John Coltrane and Wes Montgomery, to the rock experiments of like Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and Gov't Mule, to the soulful and conscious sounds of Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Peter Tosh, and Citizen Cope.
Having begun his musical studies early on piano and the violin, he became captured by the sounds of the electric guitar at the age of 15. He went on to study arts at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC for a year before attending Musicians Institute in Los Angeles in the 90's. Bobby has shared the stage with some prime musicians including: Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac); Bobby Parker; Junior Marvin and Elan (The Wailers); Erica Newell (The Melody Makers); Corey Harris, and opened for Gibb Droll, The Greyboy Allstars, Eric Lindell, Duywayne Burnside and others.
In the past few years, Bobby has recorded an album with Eddie Hartness (EFO), performed live on XM Radio with Junior Marvin (of Bob Marley's Wailers), sat in with The Wailers featuring Elan and ...
