Hello there! :-) I am The Downstairs Room. The Downstairs Room is a one-man project I've started in addition to The Upstairs Room, which is the alias I use when uploading tracks that fall under the mashup category. The Downstairs Room, on the other hand, will primarily be electronic music with few if any samples from other artists. I've been making electronic songs a lot longer than I've been making mashups, so I thought it was due time to start sharing some of my non-mashup tracks. Many of them are a lot more mellow than you've come to expect from me, but there will be plenty of upbeat ones as well. Hope y'all enjoy. :)
More about me: I've been composing music since age 10, and started mixing tracks with a computer & synthesizers in early 2005. I began making mashups in late 2006. I mix my tracks with Magix MusicMaker 12 Deluxe, an excellent program which I highly recommend.
